Military-Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineer and Signal Corps, Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation.

The Military History Museum of Artillery, Engineering Troops, and Signal Corps celebrates its founding on August 29, 1703, when, on the personal orders of Peter the Great, a special Zeughaus was built on the grounds of the Peter and Paul Fortress to store antique artillery pieces. Initially, it was a small wooden building, later a brick one. Both domestic and captured artillery pieces of historical value were delivered there for safekeeping "for eternal glory." The Military History Museum of Artillery, Engineering Troops, and Signal Corps exhibits span 13 halls and an area of over 17,000 square meters. Among the exhibits are artillery armament and ammunition, small arms and bladed weapons, military engineering equipment, military communications equipment, battle flags, military uniforms, battle paintings and graphic art, awards, and insignia reflecting the history of artillery throughout its development from the 14th to the 20th centuries. Museum visitors can learn about the history of missile weapons and the development of the engineering and signal corps from ancient times to the present day.
The museum's vast collection of various weapons showcases the finest examples of the world's greatest gunsmiths. One of them, the renowned Russian designer M.T. Kalashnikov, who created and introduced a whole range of standardized automatic small arms, unparalleled in the world, is given an entire hall in the museum's main exhibition.

The museum displays the works of famous masters:

Anton Peffenhauser, Augsburg, Germany.

Valentin Siebenburger, Nuremberg, Germany.
