Musée de l'Armée - Museum Army, Paris, Ile-de-France, République Française.

The Paris Army Museum holds the third-largest collection of arms and armor in the world (after the Vienna and Madrid museums). The collection covers military history from the 13th century to the mid-17th century, demonstrating the importance of arms and armor in European life and aristocratic life during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. The museum exhibits approximately 2,500 pieces of armor and weaponry.
Several halls display works by major European workshops, as well as those of famous European armorers. Among the exhibits, notable are the ceremonial armor of the French kings Henry II, Henry IV, Louis XIII, and Louis XIV.

The museum displays the works of famous masters:

Anton Peffenhauser, Augsburg, Germany.

Giovanni Paolo Negroli, Milan, Italy.

Jörg Seusenhofer, Innsbruck, Austria.

Lorenz Helmschmidt, Augsburg, Germany.

Niccolò Silva, Milan, Italy.

Pompeo della Cesa, Milan, Italy.
