Viehofen Castle - Schloss Viehofen, Sankt Polten, Lower Austria, Republic of Austria.

Viehofen Castle was first mentioned in 1130, but it is believed to be older. After several changes of ownership, the castle was inhabited and owned by the Kuefstein family until 1945.

Parts of the castle complex were demolished in 1960.

Next to the castle is the Gothic chapel dedicated to St. James. It was first mentioned in 1248.

Since 2003, it has been a ruin owned by the family and has been undergoing renovation and maintenance.
