   One of the most important architectural testaments to the Bolognese Renaissance, the 15th-century Palazzo Ghisilardi has housed the Museum of Medieval Civic Society since 1985. The halls of this important building house works from the 17th-century collections, including the Marquis Cospi Collection, a veritable encyclopedic compendium of natural and artificial wonders; the General Marsili Collection, consisting primarily of weapons; and, finally, the Palagi Collection (1860).
