Castello Cini di Monselice - Cini Monselice Castle, Monselice, Province of Padua, Veneto, Italian Republic.
collection of 904 pieces of arms and armor is second in Veneto only to the Armory of the Doge's Palace in Venice.
The castle's Armory, created by Count Vittorio Cini in the 1930s, currently occupies the entire first floor of the 13th-century Ezzeliniana Tower. The arms collection is divided into three rooms, each containing a valuable collection of complete tournament and combat armor, helmets and chain mail, swords, daggers, polearms, crossbows, and firearms dating from the fourteenth and eighteenth centuries. Their Italian, Spanish, German, and French origins provide insight into the use and distribution of weapons in Europe during the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
