Alt-Liemberg Castle - Burgruine Alt-Liemberg, Wasai, Carinthia, Republic of Austria.

   First documented in 1167, the castle complex consists mainly of a Romanesque outer bailey tower, a still-standing Gothic keep, and the palace, which has undergone more recent structural alterations. The castle is located directly on the "Four Mountains Trail" and is freely accessible. The area around the castle was already in use in prehistoric and Roman times.
