Armoury Chamber Kremlin museum, Moscow, Russian Federation.
The Armory Chamber, a museum and treasury, is part of the Grand Kremlin Palace complex. It is housed in a building constructed in 1851 by the architect Konstantin Ton. The core of the museum collection consists of precious objects crafted in Kremlin workshops and donated by foreign embassies, preserved for centuries in the royal treasury and the patriarchal sacristy. The museum also features a small collection of armor from European workshops, the main exhibit being a horseman on horseback. Both pieces are displayed in protective armor crafted by the renowned German armorer Kunz Lochner in the second half of the 16th century, which was a gift to Tsar Feodor Ivanovich from the Polish King Stefan Batory. You can also see complete Gothic and Maximilian armor, as well as several helmets and weapons made in Europe.
