Museum Armory Alava - Museo de Armería de Álava, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava, Reino de España.

History Museum.
Since 1941, the weapons collection, which included significant pieces ranging from swords, armor, and crossbows from the 15th to the 18th centuries, was on display in the so-called Casa de Álava, or Provincial Museum, where the museum was housed at the time. Archaeology, numismatics, and other artifacts were also on display.
In 1963, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Vitoria, organized by various institutions, a large exhibition was installed in the historic El Portalón building, displaying an important collection of weapons, documents, and various objects related to the War of Independence, and particularly the Battle of Vitoria. The collected objects were donated, among others, by the Provincial Council of Álava, the City Council of Vitoria, and various individuals, including the Vitoria businessman, patron, and collector Félix Alfaro Fournier, who acquired an important collection of weapons from various countries.
The success of the exhibition led to the decision to present these funds, which had grown with the increasing number of donations and purchases, in a more complete, stable, and organized manner. To this end, Félix Alfaro Fournier donated his entire collection to the Provincial Council of Álava in 1966. That same year, the Museum of Archaeology was replaced by the Museum of the Armory of Álava, housed in the Casa Armera de los Gobeo-Guevara San Juan, in the old town of Vitoria. The lack of space quickly became apparent, and a new location had to be found. When the Basque Council acquired the Ajuria Enea building for the Basque Art Museum, one of the adjacent buildings was used to house the new Armory Museum of Álava, where all the collection's assets were transferred in 1975 and where they remain to this day.

The museum displays the works of famous masters:

Pompeo della Cesa, Miln, Italy.
