Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum - Hungarian National Museum, Budapest, Közép-Magyarország, Magyarország.
The Armory of the Hungarian National Museum is one of the institution's core collections, to which the first weapons were added in 1807. From the 11th century to the present day, the Armory houses 10,588 artifacts.
The most significant of the bladed weapons is the sword collection, which also contains a large number of sabres and daggers. Striking weapons include maces and picks, while filigree weapons include spears and halberds.
Defensive weapons have included helmets, breastplates, backplates, chainmail, and full plate armor since the 14th century.
