Lichtenfels Castle

Lichtenfels Castle - Burgruine Lichtenfels, Rastenfeld, Lower Austria, Republic of Austria.

The two main towers, the keep at the main gate, and the second tower (chapel) have been preserved in their entirety. Of the main structures of Lichtenfels Castle, first mentioned in the 12th century, fragments of the surrounding walls of considerable height still remain. The owner of the ruins is Dr. Raimondo Thurn.
